From last nights study some had asked for more resources about our modern and current day reliability of scripture. Here are some great resources on the topic. I shared that there is great scholarship in this direction. Here is some and I’m sure many have others. I pray this finds you well and is a help to your walk in Christ.

Here is some recent work on the subject and a very comprehensive essay/article at TGC by Craig Blomberg. and below this I will also link to his book on The Historical Reliability of the New Testament.

Michael Kruger also has a great article “The Biblical Cannon” Where the details of the canonizing of scripture are discussed. I will also leave links to 2 books on the subject he wrote.

      Inerrancy:
As we discuss this topic I think it’s also important to keep in mind that when we are discussing biblical inerrancy we are always reference the bible in it’s original text. We affirm that translations are 1 step from the original. So when we say inerrancy we are talking about the bible whether OT or NT in it’s original form/manuscripts/scrolls…

These are some great resources on the matter. Do you have any you prefer or would like to share? Thanks for joining the conversation!
