About AWANA
Welcome to OEFC Awana Clubs. We are an outreach ministry for youth from 3 years old through 6th grade. We meet every Wednesday night during the school year, from 6 to 8 pm. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The word “Awana” is an acrostic for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Our goal is not to replace teaching which comes from home, but to work alongside parents in training children in the Gospel. Our fervent prayer is that all youth throughout the world would come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We welcome your children to our clubs and always encourage parents to stay and join us as well.
AWANA Programs
Cubbies: Preschoolers from 3 to 4 years old
Cubbies displays the greatness of God’s character to preschoolers who are constantly asking questions!
Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Sparks ignites a child’s curiosity to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
Truth & Training Clubs: 3rd through 6th grade
T&T takes students on a journey by answering their questions about God and the Bible while guiding them to grow in Christ’s love and live out their faith.

All of our children and youth workers have been trained in child protection policies and have gone through a strict application process and background checks. We have done everything we can to assure that your children are in safe hands.
Our volunteer staff is trained by the Awana organization and is knowledgeable in the workings of the Awana ministry. Your assistance in helping your child memorize his or her sections will be greatly appreciated by your child’s leader, and can prove to be a special time for both you and your child.
