Kingdom Man

Kingdom Man is a six part DVD series by Dr. Tony Evans, on the role, responsibilities and the challenges of being a Kingdom Man … a man who represents the King and the Kingdom of God in this foreign land that we call earth!  The Apostle Peter said it right when he said this in 1 Peter 2:11-12, “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.”  To this world, we are strangers and aliens, but as Kingdom Men, we bring the Kingdom of God and the Word of the King and the Works of God (Matthew 5:16) to bear upon the chaos and confusion of a sinful world.  Are we up to the challenge?  Are we willing to live as Kingdom Men?

Come to OEFC on Father’s Day weekend and hear the challenge!  Starting Friday night, June 19^th from 7- 9:30 pm, continuing Saturday morning from 9 am- noon and culminating Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour (8:45 am) and Church Service (10- 11:30 am).  Cost is only $10 per person.  Come and be challenged and instructed to be the man God has destined you to be in Christ!

Session #1 – Wanted, Kingdom Men

In 2 Chronicles 16:9, the prophet tells King Asa, “The eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth, that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His!”  Do you want to be that man?

Session #2 – Greatness is Your Destiny

Jesus told us, “… WHOEVER wishes to become great among you shall be your servant … WHOEVER wishes to be first among you shall be your slave … Just as the Son of man … Matthew 20:26-28.  How bad do you want greatness in your life?

Session #3 – Claiming Your Territory

Joshua was told “Be strong and courageous … be careful to do all according to God’s Law … Then you will make your way prosperous, then you will have success” (Joshua 1:6-9).  Joshua claimed his inheritance … how about you?

Session #4 – The Life of a Kingdom Man

Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”  How seriously are we taking God and His Word?

Session #5 – The Home of a Kingdom Man

Dr. Evans says, “Nothing demonstrates the decline in our world like the demise of the family” … Kingdom Men and fathers are God’s remedy to that!  How about you?  How do you role? (Joshua 24:15)

Session #6 – The Influence of a Kingdom Man

A Kingdom Man takes up the charge to bring heaven to bear on his life, his family, his church and his society.  He represents heaven in the foreign land of earth.  How are you doing as God’s ambassador? (2 Corinthians 5:20)
