Women's Ministries

The desire of our Women's Ministry is to effectively meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and relational needs of the women of OEFC through the love of Christ, unified by the Spirit. Minisitries include: MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) , WoW (Women of the Word, a mentoring program), Senior Ladies' Luncheons, Keeping in Touch, Women's Bible Studies, and Women's Events.

Planned events in 2008 include: Weekly Women's Bible Studies, Senior Ladies' Valentine's Luncheon, Movie Night (March 10), Woman to Woman Mentoring gatherings ( March 15, April 5, September 20), Women of Faith (April 11,12), Silver Spur Women's Conference (May 16-18), Ladies at the Lake (July 10), Ladies on the Lake (August 14), Ladies' Fall Tea (September 13), Women's Mini-Retreat "Be Still and Know I Am God" (September 19,20), Craft, Soup, and Salad (October 25), and a Women's Ministry Christmas Party (December 15).

Philippians 2:1-2: "Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose."
